Who we are

George Fung Music was founded on the commitment to provide the same, excellent level of service for all weddings and events as if it were our very first. 

A native Torontonian, George Fung's musical training began at Saint Michael's Choir School in downtown Toronto.  Receiving extensive training in organ, piano, and violin, he received Associate Performance diplomas in all three instruments at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) and the University of Western Ontario (London) and was awarded gold medals in organ and violin for the highest marks in his convocation years.  

George's musical career began as a freelance organist at church services, weddings, and funerals, and as a piano accompanist for singers and other instrumentalists for recitals, auditions, and conservatory examinations.  His freelance experience as an organist/pianist for wedding ceremonies and church services extends to over 100 churches in the Greater Toronto Area to date.  Throughout the years, he has also held organist positions at several Toronto churches, including St. Michael's Cathedral, St. Joan of Arc Church, St. Brigid's Parish, and Holy Rosary Parish.  Through years of working as an organist and piano accompanist, George has come to know many of Toronto's finest musicians, many of whom share the same commitment to providing excellent musical services and musical assistance in planning for your special event. 

More recently, he has been a leading member in the Churches-on-the-Hill union, uniting choristers and musicians from nine churches including Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, Deer Park United, Grace Church Anglican, Christ Church Deer Park, Yorkminster Park Baptist, Calvin Presbyterian, and has rehearsed and directed the 180-member combined choir of the Churches-on-the-Hill for the yearly Churches-on-the-Hill Advent service.

Currently, George is the Organist and Music Director at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Toronto.  He continues to focus much of his time to his work as music coordinator, coordinating musicians for various events, and as freelance organist and pianist.

Supported by a dedicated team of professionally trained musicians, we have provided exceptional musicians to play at hundreds of weddings, corporate, and social events. 

Our musical team members are all specialists in their own field of expertise, specializing in, and leading ensembles consisting of strings, flute, brass, voice, choirs, guitar, piano, and organ.  Our dedication and experience ensure that George Fung Music continues to provide the best talent and musical expertise in the industry.
